Abetnego Tarigan has served as National Executive Director of Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia (www.walhi.or.id) since May 2012. Prior to joining WALHI, Abetnego Tarigan served as Executive Director of Sawit Watch (www.sawitwatch.or.id), a non-profit organization that concern on the negative impacts of oil palm plantation system, from 2008 to 2012. Since 2001 until today Abetnego Tarigan involved in various campaigns and advocacy on environmental and social issues related to natural resource management in Indonesia. Actively engaged in developing a wide range of organizations that strengthen the role of civil society in the development of Indonesia, such as Public Interest Lawyer Network (www.pilnet.or.id), Oil Palm Smallholders Association (www.spks.or.id) and Registration of Indigenous Peoples Territory (www.brwa.or.id).
At the international level, Mr. Tarigan actively involved in various international forums as a speaker and participant. From 2008 to 2012 he served as Executive Board of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (www.rspo.org) and as Board of Friends of the Earth Asia Pacific in 2012 to 2014. Abetnego Tarigan believes that the advance democratic country must be supported by strong civil society organizations.

He is Minister of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency since 25 October 2019. Previously, he was the Minister of National Development Planning of Indonesia, taking office after a cabinet reshuffle by President Joko Widodo.
Bambang Brodjonegoro completed his study at Economics Faculty of Universitas Indonesia in 1990. The next year, Bambang studied for a master's degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, United States, continuing on to doctoral program completed in 1997.
As an academician, he began his career as a lecturer at University of Indonesia to become the Dean of the Economics Faculty, University of Indonesia. In 2009 he became the Director-General of the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), Islamic Development Bank Group, located in Jeddah, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After a 2 years as The Director-General of IRTI, he was appointed as The Chairman of The Fiscal Policy Agency, Ministry of Finance, The Republic of Indonesia in 2011. He then was then promoted as the Vice-Minister of Finance during Susilo Bambang Yudoyono’s presidency.

Bambang Supriyanto is currently the Director General of Social Forestry and Environmental Partnership at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia. Previously, he held a number of leadership positions in the Ministry including Head of Planning Bureau, Director of Research and Development for Social Economic Forest Policy and Climate Change Center, and Director of Utilization of Environmental Services of Conservation Forest.
In addition to his government post, Supriyanto is also National Coordinator for WWF Indonesia, and Indonesian Coordinator for Asian Raptor Research and Conservation Network (ARRCN). Additionally he works with IUCN, CIFOR, Indonesia-Finland Cooperation, Gede Pahala, Raptor Sanctuary, and Tropical Forest Conservation Act II for Borneo.

Debora Tjandrakusuma joined Nestlé Indonesia in 1986. In 2001 she was promoted to become Legal & Corporate Affairs Director of PT Nestlé Indonesia. In 2003, Debora was assigned to Nestlé’s Headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland, where she fostered her functional skills in Corporate Social Responsibility, human rights and issues related to commodity such as coffee, cacao and palm oil.
Since her return from Switzerland in 2006, Debora has resumed her role as PT Nestlé Indonesia’s Legal & Corporate Affairs Director. Her area of responsibilities include Legal, Government & Community Relations, Corporate Communication & Media Relations and Creating Shared Value programs in Indonesia. In 2018 she took double role as Head of HR in the Company, where she has successfully managed industrial relations related issues in M&A projects of the Company.

Ngurah joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986, and got his first assignment as the Third Secretary at the Indonesian Embassy to the Federal Republic of Germany, in Bonn from 1991–1995. He was later assigned at the Indonesian Permanent Mission to the United Nations, in New York City, USA from 1999–2003. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ngurah served as the Director for the Multilateral Economic and Environment Cooperation, and the Director for ASEAN Political Security Cooperation until 2009.
He was sworn in by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Cambodia on January 30, 2009, from 2009–2010. Ngurah was later assigned to become the first Permanent Representative/Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to ASEAN. He presented the letter of credence from the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the Secretary General of ASEAN on behalf of ASEAN on March 23, 2010. In February 2016, he was appointed as Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore. Ngurah has been involved in several international, United Nations and ASEAN negotiations. He served as the Chair or the facilitator in many of those negotiations. He wrote articles for local newspapers and lecture at several universities in Indonesia. Recently he was appointed as the Director General for America and Europe Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prof. John Hutagaol received a Master of Economics in Accountancy in 1994 and a year later degree of Master of Economics by Research in 1995 (with honors) both from the University of Macquarie, Australia. In year 2004, Prof John Hutagaol received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Management from the University of Padjadjaran, Indonesia. Prof John Hutagaol has been working with the DGT for more than 30 years with several experiences as Director of Tax Regulation II year 2012 until 2016, Director of International Taxation, year 2016 until now, Indonesian Competent Authority, year 2012 until now, and Head of Indonesian Delegation for MAP, year 2012 until now.
In his current position as Director of International Taxation, holds several responsibilities from preparing the formulation of policies in the field of international taxation; implementation of policies in the field of international taxation; preparing the preparation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria in the field of international taxation; and providing guidance, monitoring, controlling and evaluating the implementation of policies in the field of international taxation to ensure DGT excellence and continuous performance improvement in tax collection and a further improvement in tax transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes.

Maria Vasquez is currently managing the ILO's Better Work programme in Indonesia. She has previously worked as a consultant for the ILO on revising Better Work's capacity-building strategies and materials and as a researcher on companies' labour practices in different sectors.
Between 2012-2014, she managed a public-private partnership project between the ILO and the chocolate industry on the elimination of Child Labour in the cocoa sector in West Africa. Prior to that, she coordinated the ILO's Training Centre training initiative on CSR which aimed at developing new curricula for mainly companies and private sector actors on labour standards and labour issues in global supply chains.
A lawyer by training, she started her career in the private sector as a legal counsel working for lead multinationals dealing with CSR, compliance and legal risk assessment issues. She has also provided legal advice and representation on Public law as well as Corporate, IP and Labour law. While working as a researcher for the European Commission, she was involved in the implementation of the European Strategy on CSR and collaborated on the elaboration of a report on national policies for the promotion of CSR.
She holds a Masters degree (LL.M) on International Economic Law from the University of Warwick and a Law degree from the Portuguese Catholic University.

Previously, Meizani was appointed as Director in PT Royal Lestari Utama (RLU) since 2015, she oversees Sustainability and Business Development. Spearheading the sustainability activities, including building strategy and team that manages Environmental & Social activities, and engagement with stakeholders. She also led RLU’s successful fundraising activities since its establishment, including the issuance of Asia Pacific’s 1st corporate Sustainability Bond of US$95 Million and grant to develop the Wildlife Conservation Area (WCA) in Jambi, an important habitat for the Sumatran Elephants. Recently, Meizani has been appointed as the Deputy Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Field Division of Conservation International.
Meizani graduated from University of Minnesota with a double degree BA in Political Science and Global Studies with Certificate of Distinction as a Community Engagement Scholar. She started her career in human rights and post-disaster relief activities, including working for the International Labor Organization (ILO). She has worked in Barito Pacific Group since 2008, when she joined Star Energy Geothermal and led the successful new venture activities in Jailolo and the development and registration of Wayang Windu Unit 2 geothermal project as the largest CDM project in Indonesia in 2011. At that time she also served as an Executive Secretary Consultant at the Asosiasi Panasbumi Indonesia. In 2012, she was entrusted with the position of General Manager of Business Development at Barito Pacific and played a crucial role in establishing the RLU joint venture.

Rahimah Abdul Rahim is the Director of Public Policy for Southeast Asia (Established Countries) for Facebook Asia Pacific. Prior to this, she served at The Habibie Center, one of Indonesia’s leading think tanks focusing on democracy and human rights, for 19 years, serving as their executive director for 9 years (2010-2019).
She has 20 years advocating for peace and democracy in Indonesia and travels extensively to speak about good governance, democratization, and the role of civil society in Southeast Asia. In 2017, Ima co-created, with World Fellows Stephen Shashoua (2015) and Abdul-Rehman Malik (2017), CERITA (Community Empowerment for Raising Inclusivity and Trust through Technology Application), a project using the art of storytelling to fight discrimination, promote inclusivity and build trust. The pilot phase reached 150 young influencers in five Indonesian cities, training them to act as facilitators and storytellers in their own communities.
Ima is a 2018 Stanford - Draper Hills Fellow, a 2017 University of Hong Kong AsiaGlobal Fellow, a 2015 Yale World Fellow, a 2010 MIT IDEAS Indonesia Fellow and a 2001 Asia Foundation APSA Congressional Fellow (where she worked in the Office of Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald of California).
She holds a Bachelors of Human Science in Political Science and Islamic Studies from the International Islamic University Malaysia, and an M.A. in International Studies and Diplomacy from University of London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
In her free time Ima advocates for survivors of gender based violence and abuse through the non-profit Lentera Sintas Indonesia. She also helped start the Jakarta-based program Drive Books, Not Cars, getting free books into the hands of kids who need them.

Siti Nurbaya Bakar is the Minister of Environment and Forestry. Previously in 1981, she worked for the Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda) in Lampung and remained there for 17 years. In 1998, she moved back to Jakarta to work in the Home Affairs Ministry. She served as secretary general of the ministry for the 2001–2005 period. She was appointed by president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as secretary general of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) for 2006–2013. In January 2013, Siti stepped down from the DPD and joined National Democrat Party. She was appointed as Minister of Environment and Forestry by President Joko Widodo in 2014 until now.

Sondang Anggraini is former Ambassador/Deputy Permanent Representative in Charge of the World Trade Organization (WTO) issues of Indonesian Mission in Geneva, Switzerland. She started her professional career as the Young Researcher in Pan ASIA Consultant in 1985. In 1986, she firstly joined the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia as the Researcher.
Her works and experiences in services-related sectors were exposed when she was appointed as the Director for Trade in Services Negotiation, the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia, in September 2010. From 2011 to 2012, she was trusted to be the Chair of Coordinating Committee on Services ASEAN. She then continued her dedication in services sectors when she played the strategic role as the APEC Group of Services Convener from 2012 to 2014. In July 2014, the Minister of Trade Republic of Indonesia assigned her as the Special Advisor.
On November 1, 2019, Suryo Utomo was officially appointed by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati as Director General of Taxes.
Starting his career as a Civil Servant as an executor at the Ministry of Finance in 1993 at the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Taxes, Directorate General of Taxes. Previously served as Director of Taxation Regulations I in 2010. In March 31, 2015 he acted as Director of Extensification and Assessment, and in July 2015 he was trusted to serve as Expert Staff to the Minister of Finance in the field of Tax Compliance.
Born in Semarang on March 26, 1969. He studied Bachelor of Economics at Diponegoro University. He earned his degree in 1992. He continued his Master of Business Taxation at the University of Southern California, United States and received his degree in 1998.
