On 19 March 2017, UID and SDSN South East Asia (SDSN SEA) have been successfully conducting Happy Day Happy Play event. The initiative also supported by various parties, from governments, the private sector, and youth community. This event is a celebration of the International Happiness Day that has been set by United Nation every on 20 March since 2013. the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. In 2015 the UN launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals that seek to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect our planet – three key aspects that lead to well-being and happiness. |
| On this occurrence, UID and SDSN SEA would like to acknowledge all the supporters that enable us to attract more than 800 people to celebrate the Happiness that leads to Sustainable Development Goals. UID have 1,235 member registered in our website and supported by more than 150 volunteer and more than 20 youth organization. UID have been successful in carrying out various activities ranging from Happy Walk, Happy Dance, Happy Play, Happy Pyramid Formation Challenge, Happy Flash Mob and Happy Moment Sharing. These activities have been carried out smoothly and got very good response from the public. |
